Welcome to The UnWed Community™! The community is made up of UnWed users, members, partners and employees.
These UnWed Community Terms of Use (“Community TOU”) are the terms that apply to your use of The UnWed Community™. We hope that these will help ensure the community is valuable to you and serves as a platform where we can all become better together. The Community TOU also protects the interests of all of our members, as well as our goodwill and reputation. These terms are so important that we cannot permit you to use The UnWed Community unless you agree to them. By using The UnWed Community, you are agreeing to these terms.
Every community user of ours agrees to abide by these Community TOU and is responsible for any violations. You are not allowed to assist or engage others in a way that would violate these Community TOU. We will enforce and ensure compliance with this Community TOU by using methods we consider to be appropriate.
We reserve the right to modify these Community TOU at any time without giving you prior notice. You can find the most recent version here. Your use of the community following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these Community TOU as modified. You agree to review the Community TOU on a regular basis and always remain in compliance.
1. Definitions
“Agreement” or “Community TOU” means these UnWed Community Terms of Use and all materials referred or linked to in here.
“Community Content” means all content, including without limitation, language, data, information, and images, provided through or disclosed by use of The UnWed Community, whether by us, our customers, or other users of The UnWed Community. Community Content does not include Your Content.
“Community Usage Guidelines” means the policies applicable to users of The UnWed Community.
“The UnWed Community” means the online community accessible at theunwed.com.
"Sensitive Information" means credit or debit card numbers; personal financial account information; Social Security numbers; passport numbers; driver’s license numbers or similar identifiers; employment, financial or health information, including any information subject to regulations, laws or industry standards designed to protect data privacy and security, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
"Third-Party Products" means products and professional services that are provided by third parties which may interoperate with or be used in connection with UnWed products.
"Third-Party Sites" means third-party websites linked from within or accessed through The UnWed Community.
"UnWed", "we", "us" or “our” means The UnWed Corp. and our affiliates.
"You" or "your" means the person or entity using The UnWed Community.
"Your Content” means all content, including without limitation, language, data, information, and images, provided through or disclosed by use of The UnWedCommunity, by you.
2. Access to The UnWed Community
We will provide you access to use The UnWed Community according to the terms of this Agreement. We may use third party service providers to provide some or all elements of The UnWed Community. In order to access and use The UnWed Community, you may be required to establish a username with a third party service provider, and you grant us the right to share the information necessary to enable your use of The UnWed Community with our third party service providers.
You may not use a username that: (i) belongs to someone else, (ii) impersonates another person, (iii) is misleading, (iv) violates any intellectual property or other proprietary rights, (v) is vulgar or offensive, (vi) uses ‘The UnWed ’ as all or part of it, unless we provide express permission to do so, or (vii) we reject, which we may choose to do in our discretion. All information you provide in your profile must be accurate. If you believe your access to or use of The UnWed Community has been breached, compromised, or unauthorized, notify us immediately at [email protected]
3. Your Conduct and Content
a. Usage Guidelines. You must review and follow the Community Usage Guidelines. We may change the Community Usage Guidelines from time to time by updating the applicable website. Your use of The UnWed Community is subject to the Community Usage Guidelines, which are incorporated to this Agreement by reference.
b. Acceptable Use. You will use The UnWed Community for its intended purpose only, and will not use it for solicitation or advertising purposes, unless we otherwise agree. Your Content should typically relate to divorce, recovering from divorce, community events, The UnWed products or their use.
The UnWed Community is meant for public discussion, so you may not disclose or solicit anyone's private information or disclose confidential information. You are responsible for the use by third parties of any personal information disclosed by you to The UnWed Community, whether or not you permitted such use. This means that no private or personal information should be exchanged within The UnWed Community. Upon our consent, certain users may be permitted to include a link as part of their signature information, which another user may click to leave The UnWed Community and obtain or share additional information. If you share your information by following one of these links, then you grant us the right to further share your information with trusted partners so that they may contact you about inbound marketing or sales service offerings.
You are not permitted to sell, rent, lease, assign, sublicense, distribute, transmit, broadcast, commercially exploit, grant a security interest in, or otherwise transfer any right in The UnWed Community or Community Content. In addition, and without limiting the other requirements in this Community TOU, you may not (directly or indirectly) use The UnWed Community with content, or in a manner that:

is in violation of this Agreement;

is confidential, proprietary or discloses Sensitive Information;

discloses or solicits the private information of any person;

is threatening, abusive, harassing, stalking, or defamatory;

is deceptive, false, misleading or fraudulent;

is invasive of another's privacy or otherwise violates another’s legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity);
-
contains vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful material;
-
infringes a third party's intellectual property right(s);
-
publishes, posts, uploads, or otherwise distributes any software, music, videos, or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you have all necessary rights and consents to do so;

uploads files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another person's computer;
-
downloads any file that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in that way;
-
falsifies or deletes any author attributions, legal or proprietary designations, labels of the origin or source of software, or other material contained in a file that is uploaded;
-
restricts or inhibits any other user of The UnWed Community from using and enjoying our website and/or The UnWed product;
-
harvests or otherwise collects information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent;
-
damages, disables, overburdens, or impairs any UnWed website or interferes with any other party's use and enjoyment of The UnWed Community;
-
mirrors or frames The UnWed Community website, or any part of it, on any other website or webpage;
-
attempts to gain unauthorized access to The UnWed Community, or access The UnWed Community by any means other than through the interface that we provide to you;
-
violates the usage standards or rules of an entity affected by your use, including without limitation, any ISP, ESP, or news or user group (and including, by way of example, and not limitation, circumventing or exceeding equipment use rights and restrictions and/or location and path identification detail);

is legally actionable between private parties; and/or
-
is in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
c. Suspension and Notice of Violations. We may immediately suspend use of The UnWed Community, without notice, for actual or suspected violations of the terms contained in this Section 3 (Your Conduct and Content). If you know of usage that is in violation of this Agreement, please let us know by contacting us at [email protected], and following the process for claims of copyright infringement described below.
d. Claims of Copyright Infringement. We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask our users to do the same. We may, in its sole discretion, suspend the access or terminate the accounts of users who violate others' intellectual property rights. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement on our website, please contact us at [email protected]
e. Our Use of Your Content. You grant to us all rights, licenses and permissions necessary to display, reproduce, disseminate, and otherwise use Your Content in connection with The UnWed Community. We may edit or remove Your Content, or block or disable replies on a topic, at any time in our sole discretion.
4. The UnWed’s Proprietary Rights
You are not granted a license to any software by this Agreement. The UnWed products are protected by intellectual property laws, they belong to and are the property of us or our licensors (if any), and we retain all ownership rights to them. Our trademarks include, but are not limited to, The UnWed, The UnWed Community, UnWed, and you may not use any of these without our prior written permission.
We encourage all members to comment on The UnWed products, provide suggestions for improving them, and vote on suggestions they like. You agree that all such comments and suggestions will be non-confidential and that we own all rights to use and incorporate them into The UnWed products, without payment or attribution to you.
5. Third-Party Sites and Products
Third-Party Products and Third-Party Sites are not under our control. Third-Party Sites and Products are provided to you only as a convenience, and the availability of any Third-Party Site or Product does not mean we endorse, support or warranty the Third-Party Site or Product.
6. Term and Termination
a. Term. This Agreement will apply for as long as you use or maintain a username for The UnWed Community.
b. Termination and Suspension. We may terminate this Agreement and/or suspend your access to The UnWed Community immediately if you: (i) violate any of the terms of this Agreement, (ii) use The UnWed Community in a way which has or may negatively reflect on or affect us, our prospects, or our customers, or (iii) if we determine it to be necessary or desirable in our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide you with any of Your Content used in connection with The UnWed Community after termination. Termination or expiration of this Agreement shall not cause your subscription agreement to be terminated, if you have one.
7. Your Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that: (i) your participation in The UnWed Community will not conflict with any of your existing agreements or arrangements, (ii) you have sufficient rights to share all Your Content with us for our use and with other users of The UnWed Community, and that you are not violating any confidentiality obligations by submitting Your Content to The UnWed Community, and (iii) that Your Content does not violate or constitute the infringement of any intellectual property right, right of privacy, right of publicity or other proprietary right.
8. Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend and hold us harmless, at your expense, against any third-party claim, suit, action, or proceeding (each, an "Action") brought against us (and our officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers, licensors, and affiliates) by a third party to the extent that such Action is based upon or arises out of (a) your use of The UnWed Community, (b) your disclosure or solicitation of personal information, (c) any use of personal information that you disclosed, whether this use is by you or a third party, (d) your noncompliance with or breach of this Agreement, or (e) your use of Third-Party Products or Third-Party Sites. We will: notify you in writing within thirty (30) days of our becoming aware of any such claim; give you sole control of the defense or settlement of such a claim; and provide you (at your expense) with any and all information and assistance reasonably requested by you to handle the defense or settlement of the claim. You shall not accept any settlement that (i) imposes an obligation on us; (ii) requires us to make an admission; or (iii) imposes liability not covered by these indemnifications or places restrictions on us without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers; Limitations of Liability
a. Disclaimer of Warranties. WE AND OUR AFFILIATES AND AGENTS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, SECURITY OR ACCURACY OF THE UNWED PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, THE UNWED COMMUNITY, OR THE COMMUNITY CONTENT FOR ANY PURPOSE. APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACES (APIs) MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE UNWED COMMUNITY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND WITH REGARD TO THE UNWED COMMUNITY AND THE COMMUNITY CONTENT, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE UNWED COMMUNITY AND COMMUNITY CONTENT MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS.
b. No Indirect Damages. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
c. Limitation of Liability. IF, NOTWITHSTANDING THE OTHER TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, WE ARE DETERMINED TO HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, THE PARTIES AGREE THAT OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
d. Third Party Products and Sites. WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND THIRD-PARTY SITES THAT YOU USE. OUR LICENSORS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ABSENT YOUR AGREEMENT TO THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, WE WOULD NOT PROVIDE THE HUBSPOT COMMUNITY TO YOU.
10. General
a. Amendment; No Waiver. We may update and change any part or all of this Agreement. The updated Agreement will become effective and binding on the next business day after it is posted. When we change this Agreement, the "Last Modified" date above will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent version. We encourage you to review this Agreement periodically. If you do not agree with a modification to this Agreement, you should not use The UnWed Community.
b. Applicable Law. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to the conflict of laws provisions thereof. In the event either of us initiates an action in connection with this Agreement or any other dispute between the parties, the exclusive venue and jurisdiction of such action shall be in the state and federal courts in Salt Lake City, Utah.
c. Force Majeure. Neither party will be responsible for failure or delay of performance if caused by: an act of war, hostility, or sabotage; act of God; electrical, internet, or telecommunication outage that is not caused by the obligated party; government restrictions; or other event outside the reasonable control of the obligated party. Each party will use reasonable efforts to mitigate the effect of a force majeure event.
d. Relationship of the Parties. Both you and we agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and us as a result of this Agreement.
e. Compliance with Applicable Laws. You shall comply with all applicable foreign and domestic laws (including without limitation, export laws), governmental regulations, ordinances, and judicial administrative orders. Export laws and regulations of the United States and any other relevant local export laws and regulations may apply to the Community Content and The UnWed products and services. You will comply with the sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury. You will not directly or indirectly export, re-export, or transfer the Community Content or The UnWed products and services to prohibited countries or individuals or permit use of the Community Content or The UnWed products and services by prohibited countries or individuals.
f. Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies. The Community Content may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update the Community Content and Your Content at any time without prior notice. However, we do not guarantee that any errors, inaccuracies or omissions will be corrected.
g. Severability. If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by applicable law, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of this Agreement will continue in effect.
h. Notices. Notice will be sent to the contact address set forth herein (as such may be changed by notice given to the other party), and will be deemed delivered as of the date of actual receipt.

To you: your address as provided in our account information for you. We may give electronic notices specific to you by email to your e-mail address(es) on record in our account information for you. We may give notice to you by telephone calls to the telephone numbers on record in our account information for you.
i. Entire Agreement. This Agreement is the entire agreement between us for The UnWed Community and supersedes all other proposals and agreements, whether electronic, oral or written, between us. We object to and reject any additional or different terms proposed by you, including those contained in your purchase order, acceptance or website. It is the express wish of both you and us that this Agreement and all related documents be drawn up in English. We might make versions of this Agreement available in languages other than English. If we do, the English version of this Agreement will govern our relationship and the translated version is provided for convenience only and will not be interpreted to modify the English version of this Agreement.
j. No Third Party Beneficiaries. Nothing in this Agreement, express or implied, is intended to or shall confer upon any person or entity (other than the parties hereto) any right, benefit or remedy of any nature whatsoever under or by reason of this Agreement.
k. Community Usage Guidelines. We may change the Community Usage Guidelines from time to time by updating our website.
l. No Licenses. We grant to you only the rights and licenses expressly stated in this Agreement, and you receive no other rights or licenses with respect to us, The UnWed products and services, our trademarks, or any other property or right of ours.
m. Authority. Each party represents and warrants to the other that it has full power and authority to enter into this Agreement and that it is binding upon such party and enforceable in accordance with its terms.
n. Survival. The following sections shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement: ‘The UnWed Proprietary Rights’, ‘Your Representations and Warranties’, ‘Indemnification’, ‘Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability’, and ‘General’.

Use of Communication Services
The Site may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal web pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, "Communication Services"), you agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Communication Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using a Communication Service, you will not:

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.

Upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents.

Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.

Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Communication Service specifically allows such messages.

Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.

Download any file posted by another user of a Communication Service that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.

Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.

Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Communication Services.

Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service.

Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent.

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
The Site has no obligation to monitor the Communication Services. However, the Site reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. The Site reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.
The Site reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in the Site's sole discretion.
Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in any Communication Service. The Site does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, the Site specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service. Managers and hosts are not authorized Site spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of the Site.
Materials uploaded to a Communication Service may be subject to posted limitations on usage, reproduction and/or dissemination. You are responsible for adhering to such limitations if you download the materials.

Privacy Statements
Collection of Personal Information
The Site may collect personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. The Site also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by the Site. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by the Site for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site.
Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through the Site public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.
The Site encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from the Site so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. The Site is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the Site and the Site's family of web sites.
Use of Personal Information
The Site may collect and uses your personal information to operate the Site and deliver the services you have requested. The Site also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from the Site and its affiliates. The Site may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.

The Site may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. Security of Personal Information
The Site secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. The Site secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

The Site will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. The Site encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how the Site is protecting your information.

If you believe that The UnWed has not adhered to this User Agreement, please contact us at [email protected] We will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and remedy the problem.
Entire User Agreement
This Agreement is the complete and entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior agreement, whether written or oral.
If You Don't Agree To The Terms Contained In This Agreement, Please Exit the Web Site Immediately.
The UnWed Community™ App End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and The UnWed Community™ and governs use of this app made available through the Apple App Store. By installing the The UnWed Community™ App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and understand that there is no tolerance for objectionable content. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you are not entitled to use The UnWed Community™ App.
In order to ensure The UnWed Community™ provides the best experience possible for everyone, we strongly enforce a no tolerance policy for objectionable content. If you see inappropriate content, please use the “Report as offensive” feature found under each post.
1. Parties
This Agreement is between you and The UnWed Community™ only, and not Apple, Inc. (“Apple”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of this Agreement and Apple has the right to enforce this Agreement against you. The UnWed Community™, not Apple, is solely responsible for the The UnWed Community™ App and its content.
2. Privacy
The UnWed Community™ may collect and use information about your usage of the The UnWed Community™ App, including certain types of information from and about your device. The UnWed Community™ may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to measure the use and performance of the The UnWed Community™ App.
3. Limited License
The UnWed Community™ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use The UnWed Community™ App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may only use the The UnWed Community™ App on Apple devices that you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
4. Age Restrictions
By using the The UnWed Community™ App, you represent and warrant that (a) you are 17 years of age or older and you agree to be bound by this Agreement; (b) if you are under 17 years of age, you have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian; and (c) your use of the The UnWed Community™ App does not violate any applicable law or regulation. Your access to the The UnWed Community™ App may be terminated without warning if The UnWed Community™ believes, in its sole discretion, that you are under the age of 17 years and have not obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you provide your consent to your child’s use of the The UnWed Community™ App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in respect to your child’s use of the The UnWed Community™ App.
5. Objectionable Content Policy
Content may not be submitted to The UnWed Community™, who will moderate all content and ultimately decide whether or not to post a submission to the extent such content includes, is in conjunction with, or alongside any, Objectionable Content. Objectionable Content includes, but is not limited to: (i) sexually explicit materials; (ii) obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, violent and/or unlawful content or profanity; (iii) content that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary right, or that is deceptive or fraudulent; (iv) content that promotes the use or sale of illegal or regulated substances, tobacco products, ammunition and/or firearms; and (v) gambling, including without limitation, any online casino, sports books, bingo or poker.
6. Warranty
The UnWed Community™ disclaims all warranties about the The UnWed Community™ App to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent any warranty exists under law that cannot be disclaimed, The UnWed Community™, not Apple, shall be solely responsible for such warranty.
7. Maintenance and Support
The UnWed Community™ does provide minimal maintenance or support for it but not to the extent that any maintenance or support is required by applicable law, The UnWed Community™, not Apple, shall be obligated to furnish any such maintenance or support.
8. Product Claims
The UnWed Community™, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you relating to the The UnWed Community™ App or use of it, including, but not limited to: (i) any product liability claim; (ii) any claim that the The UnWed Community™ App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) any claim arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed an admission that you may have such claims.
9. Third Party Intellectual Property Claims
The UnWed Community™ shall not be obligated to indemnify or defend you with respect to any third party claim arising out or relating to the The UnWed Community™ App. To the extent The UnWed Community™ is required to provide indemnification by applicable law, The UnWed Community™, not Apple, shall be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any claim that the The UnWed Community™ App or your use of it infringes any third party intellectual property right.

This UnWed Community™ Privacy Statement (“Privacy Statement") explains our privacy practices for the activities described herein. What Personal Data do we collect?
2.1 Personal Data we collect directly from you
The Personal Data we collect directly from you includes identifiers, professional or employment-related information, financial account information, commercial information, visual information, and internet activity information. We collect such information in the following situations:

If you express an interest in obtaining additional information about our services; request customer support; use our “Contact Us” or similar features; register to use our websites; sign up for an event, webinar or contest; or download certain content, we may require that you provide to us your contact information, such as your name, job title, company name, address, phone number, email address or username and password;

If you make purchases via our websites or register for an event or webinar, we may require that you provide to us your financial and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number or bank account information;

2.2 Personal Data we collect from other sources
We also collect information about you from other sources including third parties from whom we purchase Personal Data and from publicly available information. We may combine this information with Personal Data provided by you. This helps us update, expand, and analyze our records, identify new customers, and create more tailored advertising to provide services that may be of interest to you. The Personal Data we collect from other sources includes identifiers, professional or employment-related information, education information, commercial information, visual information, internet activity information, and inferences about preferences and behaviors. What device and usage data do we process?
We use common information-gathering tools, such as tools for collecting usage data, cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to automatically collect information that may contain Personal Data as you navigate our websites, our services, or interact with emails we have sent to you.
3.1 Device and usage data
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically when individual users visit our websites. Some of the device and usage data collected by the services, whether alone or in conjunction with other data, could be personally identifying to you. Please note that this device and usage data is primarily used to identify the uniqueness of each user logging on (as opposed to specific individuals), apart from where it is strictly required to identify an individual for security purposes or as required as part of our provision of the services to our customers.
3.2 Cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies on our website and in email communications
We use technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags, and JavaScript, alone or in conjunction with cookies, to gather information about the use of our websites and how people interact with our emails.
When you visit our websites, we, or an authorized third party, may place a cookie on your device that collects information, including Personal Data, about your online activities over time and across different sites. Cookies allow us to track use, infer-browsing preferences, and improve and customize your browsing experience.
We use both session-based and persistent cookies on our websites. Our websites may use social media features, such as the Facebook “like” button, the “Tweet” button and other sharing widgets (“Social Media Features”). Social Media Features may also allow you to like or highlight information we have posted on our website or our branded social media pages. Social Media Features are either hosted by each respective platform or hosted directly on our website. The UnWed also allows you to log in to certain of our websites using sign-in services like Facebook Connect. These services authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain Personal Data from these services with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign-up form.
Your interactions with Social Media Features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing them.
3.6 Telephony log information
If you use certain features of our services on a mobile device, we may also collect telephony log information (like phone numbers, time and date of calls, duration of calls, SMS routing information and types of calls), device event information (such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser language), and location information (through IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide us with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and cell towers).
4. Purposes for which we process Personal Data and the legal bases on which we rely
We collect and process your Personal Data for the following purposes. Where required by law, we obtain your consent to use and process your Personal Data for these purposes. Otherwise, we rely on another authorized legal basis (including but not limited to the (a) performance of a contract or (b) legitimate interest) to collect and process your Personal Data.

5. Who do we share Personal Data with?
We may share your Personal Data as follows:

Service Providers: With our contracted service providers, who provide services such as IT and system administration and hosting, credit card processing, research and analytics, marketing, customer support and data enrichment for the purposes and pursuant to the legal bases described above; such service providers comprise companies located in the countries in which we operate.

Affiliates: If you use our websites to register for an event or webinar organized by one of our affiliates, we may share your Personal Data with the affiliate to the extent this is required on the basis of the affiliate’s contract with you to process your registration and ensure your participation in the event; in such instances, our affiliate will process the relevant Personal Data as a separate controller and will provide you with further information on the processing of your Personal Data, where required.

Event Sponsors: If you attend an event or webinar organized by us, or download or access an asset on our website, we may share your Personal Data with sponsors of the event. If required by applicable law, you may consent to such sharing via the registration form or by allowing your attendee badge to be scanned at a sponsor booth. In these circumstances, your information will be subject to the sponsors’ privacy statements. If you do not wish for your information to be shared, you may choose to not opt-in via event/webinar registration or elect to not have your badge scanned, or you can opt-out in accordance with Section 10 below;

Professional Advisers: In individual instances, we may share your Personal Data with professional advisers acting as service providers, processors, or joint controllers - including lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers based in countries in which we operate who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services, and to the extent we are legally obliged to share or have a legitimate interest in sharing your Personal Data;

The UnWed Family Affiliates: With affiliates within The UnWed corporate group and companies that we acquire in the future after they are made part of The UnWed corporate group, to the extent such sharing of data is necessary to fulfill a request you have submitted via our websites or for customer support, marketing, technical operations and account management purposes. We may also share anonymous or de-identified usage data with Salesforce’s service providers for the purpose of helping Salesforce in such analysis and improvements. Additionally, Salesforce may share such anonymous or de-identified usage data on an aggregate basis in the normal course of operating our business; for example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
Anyone using our communities, forums, blogs, or chat rooms on our websites may read any Personal Data or other information you choose to submit and post.

6. Children
Our websites are not directed at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, please contact us by using the information in the “Contacting us” section below and we will take steps to delete their Personal Data from our systems.
7. How long do we keep your Personal Data?
We may retain your Personal Data for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection (see the “Purposes for which we process Personal Data and the legal bases on which we rely” section, above) or as long as required to fulfill our legal obligations. We determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data on the basis of the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Data being processed, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the Personal Data, whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means, and on the basis of applicable legal requirements (such as applicable statutes of limitation).
After expiry of the applicable retention periods, your Personal Data will be deleted. If there is any data that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, we will implement appropriate measures to prevent any further use of such data.
